Short story
I am Edvard Ananyan, a citizen of Armenia. I am 23 years old, and I have been granted a full scholarship to be an undergraduate student at the Yerevan State University majoring in Applied Mathematics and Physics (Department of Physics). Being highly interested in computer science, I have accomplished the following individual open source projects:
- GTranslate: an automatic translation extension for Joomla based on Google Translate
- Jumi: Joomla custom content extension (in partnership with Martin Hajek)
- Jumi Tips & Tricks

I also work for an Internet Services Provider Company as a Programmer. Below is what I have done there:
- Developed the database and Interface for managing Dialup user accounts
- Developed the database and Interface for managing DSL, WiMax user accounts
- Developed the database and Interface for managing VoIP user accounts
- Developed a site for Netsys JV LLC based on Joomla 1.5 (Will be published soon. Currently, based on Xoops. In frame of this project, created a number of components, plug-ins, and modules for Joomla)
Along with my friends, I have organized a web design studio WEBMASTER, where I am particularly in charge of the programming part. We already have created a couple of websites. They are not perfect yet, but we try to get better.
The following is what I use at my work:
- Programming languages and technologies: PHP, Python, Java, C/C++ (Cern ROOT), Wolfram Mathematica, NI LabVIEW, JavaScript (MooTools, jQuery, MochiKit, PlotKit), database systems and SQL
- Operating Systems: Windows, Unix (FreeBSD, Linux)
- Other: HTML, CSS, XML, XSL, RSS, SVN, LaTeX
My favorite keyboard layout is Dvorak, and I can easily understand codes.
Armenian is my native language, and I am fluent in English and Russian.
I am responsible, energetic, purposeful, communicable, and creative personality.
I like soccer, tennis, traveling, and climbing mountains.
Perhaps, that is all for now that I can tell about myself. Thank you for reading.
